The House - Interior

The house is beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped with new electric heating.

The spacious comfortable sitting room seats 9, it has 3 large comfy sofas and a huge traditional open fireplace. The TV is connected to French signals, and to most free to view channels, There is a DVD player and a CD / tape player. A walnut chest is filled with games and jigsaws. There are wonderful views over our meadow and the Dordogne valley.

The large, more formal dining room seats ten in style around a huge French oak table.

The well equipped kitchen has a full size cooker, dishwasher, large fridge and microwave oven as well as the usual facilities, it opens onto the garden and the utility room which houses a top loading washing machine. We have equipped the house with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses - for all occasions - unbreakables for round the swimming pool and picnicing and more traditional ware for formal dining.

Stairs rise from the sitting room to the four bedrooms, two double, one twin and one single with pull out second bed. There is a shower room with a large shower, (suitable for bathing a child) bidet, basin and toilet and a 2nd bathroom comprising shower, toilet and basin.

Good quality bed linen and bathroom towels are provided - please bring your own towels for swimming.

Please note that whilst children are welcomed we cannot accommodate pets and that guests are asked not to smoke in the house.
